SUMMER CONCERT

'Showtime!'

What is it?
The children in the TX orchestra, choirs, percussion group and brass group have been preparing special ‘Hollywood and Broadway’ themed music to celebrate what a wonderful and successful musical year we have had at TX.

Where and when?
Wednesday 11th June at 6pm in the TX Sports Hall.

The Concert wasn't that long but it was really good...

I performed in MP3 Choir, African Drumming and chamber choir (harmony choir)

The red carpet was rolled out, and all the stars were shining for the TX summer concert - Showtime!  And what an event it was - choirs, drums, solos, orchestral pieces, all around the theme of the movies.  There were some old favourites, such as 'A Spoonful of Sugar' from Mary Poppins sang wonderfully by the MP1 choir, and some more unfamiliar pieces like the theme to 'The Pirates of the Caribbean' performed by the orchestra.  There were two new acts to entertain us this year; the TX Brass Group played 'Oh When the Saints' and the Chamber Choir beautifully sang their version of 'Colours of the Wind' from Poncontas.

( PS: I copied the last paragraph from Mr. Ian's Blog )

WAS A REALLY TALENTED AND FAB CONCERT...
